Norwich University has created the most amazing, most affordable solar-powered house in the world. We imagined it, we designed it, and now we’re building it. Next, the world has got to see it. This summer, we’re going to transport this house across the country to Irvine, California, for the Solar Decathlon. What’s the Solar Decathlon? What is the Solar Decathlon? It’s an international contest where we’ll compete against 19 other colleges and universities. All schools will showcase the houses we’ve built to figure out which is the smartest, the most efficient, the most beautiful and the best value. Norwich has worked hard to be one of these universities. Yeah, it’s a big deal. This is a huge project. A lot of people and a lot of sponsors have helped us within the past years. Now, it’s your turn to help. Building the house was just the beginning. Students and faculty will be in California a full month. We will be working hard, and we will need a place to eat, sleep and put our stuff, and we’ll need to bring the house with us. We hope that you, the Norwich community, keep supporting us. Dollars are great, and please Like us on Facebook. Solar Decathlon judges want to know these
numbers, so please connect with us and share your positive energy with others. The Delta T-90 team has put its heart into building a beautiful, efficient house that people can afford. Help us put a roof over our heads while we figure out a better way to put a roof over yours.
